Phil and Tessa Taylor who helped set up the Brighton Art Fair are staging their second Bespoked Handmade Bike Show in Bristol on the 23rd - 25th March at Brunel's Old Station at Temple Meads Bristol.
The show has expanded and changed venue following last year's success. However it's still the show which focuses on individual frame builders and small bespoke bike firms.
These frame builders are possibly slightly obsessed but the results are worth seeing - from the finely worked 'lugs' of Demon Frameworks to the bamboo bike of Boocycles
Flat Frame Systems will be showing their laminated wooden bicycle made with mininal energy inputs whilst Donhou will be showing their finely detailed bespoke 'dream' bicycles.
In all there are about 90 makers exhibiting at the show from as far afield as Portland Oregon, and Tuscany Italy and there's a pop up cafe run by 'Look mum no hands'.
If you can't make the show Phil's been touring the country chatting to frame builders about their 'lugs' in Meet the Maker utube interviews.
