Collagraph Course with Sarah Young

There are a few places left on this one day course which introduces artists to collagraphy. Literally making a collage printing plate out of cardboard, textured found materials (eg cloth, lace) and applied texture. The plate is inked and printed as though an etching.

Participants will make and print a plate by the end of the Day.


Sarah Young is an artist and printmaker who works in many different media but has developed the collagraph technique to suit her own work.

One of the interesting things about collagraph is that there seems to be the infinite diversity in the results obtained by different artists.


The Course takes place at Brighton Independent Printmaking in Brighton on Saturday 20th June.
