ramp (roop and al make pots!) is a small ceramics business based in Silverton, Devon. All the pieces are hand-made; firstly thrown on the wheel by Rupert and then hand painted by Alice.
ramp's current range is fired at earthenware temperature and then colour is applied using various clay slips. When the clay slip is drying, scraffito tools are used to incise lines through the colour and create specific designs. The resulting work is bright, beautiful and functional.
