We made a start on the shed today, trying to get the base leveled and get the walls up and true. Good timing with the hottest day of the year keeping the wood dry but keeping us hot and sunburnt.
Sections lifted into place.
Basic shell finished, with voids for the doors.
On Monday the insulated corrugated iron roof goes on. The sides clad in Cedar, and the front fitted with glass doors. Inside insulation and paneling fitted. At the moment it is looking quite imposing especially as it's fresh bright wood and raised a little on pillars and we're not used to anything being there. It has the feel at the moment of a Glastonbury Stage in the back garden. With the wood cladding, deck and planting it'll mellow into the garden.
